Content Development & Consultation

Not sure what you need? My content checkup will find the gaps; my writing will close them. Contact me and we’ll create a content strategy that accomplishes your business goals.

It's one thing to be a business owner and yet another one entirely to be a successful business owner. For a business to be successful, a critical component is creating consistent and effective messaging throughout the sales funnel PLUS directing that messaging to the ideal audience—and did you know that most businesses have at least 2 “ideal audiences”? Whether an established business or an entrepreneur, this is an evolving process that is best reviewed and updated regularly. However, there are so many business-building activities that must be performed that it’s easy to bump your messaging aside. Unfortunately, this is detrimental to your success and growth, and is a situation seen in many industries.

That's where I can help. My writing and consulting services, outlined below, will conquer a business's communication challenges.

Boost Your Brand Snapshot: During this 60-minute high-focus session, we will discuss your business goals and how your content is working for or against you. We’ll review your current content plan, your audience & clientele, plus any gaps in your messaging. You’ll emerge with an Action Outline, a document which clarifies your business and audience(s), plus the ideal platforms and formats to move your business forward. Here’s what we’ll review:

  • Audience identification/clarification
  • Website creation/upgrade/rebrand
  • Social media profile upgrades and updates
  • Review existing content
  • Blog idea generation and writing
  • Email marketing
  • Newsletters
  • Opt-ins and landing pages
  • Articles to build industry influence

*This session can operate as a stand-alone package, offering you the guidance to move forward confidently and independently on your own. You may also use your Action Outline as the gateway to our working together to ensure the strategies are successfully managed without falling into stagnancy.

Writing services: I fulfill your communication and messaging needs with the writing services outlined above and I typically begin writing for you within 24 hours.

Consulting services: Once your content strategy is established, how can you best utilize it for maximal results? If you are unsure how to move forward with your newly developed strategy, yet wish to implement your in-house team, I offer consulting services to make the best of your messaging. I offer 2 levels of Boost Your Brand coaching:

·  Weekly 1-hour sessions: Through this high-intensity “boot camp” style coaching, we’ll develop actionable steps and resources to move you forward faster and more effectively. We’ll determine the tools and processes you need to effectively implement my writing services (or what you’ll take away from the snapshot session).  Recommended commitment of 3 months.

· Twice-monthly 1-hour sessions: You'll receive the same program as above, but at a less intense and more realistic pace for busy startups and business owners. Recommended commitment of 4 to 6 months.

Second Act Entrepreneurship

Second Act Entrepreneurship

Life after 50, after retirement, or after a major life change brings us into a new, often unknown or unexpected, place. The first question we ask ourselves (besides “how did I get here?”) is “what next?” The second big question is, “what do I want to be when I grow up?” (Yes, we continue to ask ourselves this question even after 50!)

If you have asked yourself these questions and seek guidance through this amazing phase of life, contact me. Together we’ll identify your best path forward. I’ll help you eliminate the second-guessing when it comes to your second act!

Popular discussions include:

  • Balancing caregiving, adult children, and grandchildren with entrepreneurship
  • Bootstrapping, barter, and budgeting your second act
